Harley's Heart
The title of my blog was in honor of Harley's Heart. As many of you know she had heart surgery at 2 months of age. Her heart defect was known as VSD, a hole that was located in the center of her heart. Her heart was stopped, a patch was placed over the hole and her heart was restarted again. Simply amazing! Although she has a scar, she is doing really well and we praise God for that.

Oh MY!!!
I can not believe I have not touched this blog since 2011! Man time has FLOWN by! I have missed keeping up with my friends blogs. My husband was inspired to start a blog and I realized how long its been since I have touched mine. Ryder is quickly growing, approximately two weeks he will be TWO! Hopefully I can keep this update to-date. I am making progress with my school, only 15 classes left. Sounds like a lot, but it half way over.

Most improved Reader...
For the first quarter of 1st grade Harley won a EIP reading award and "Most Improve Reading" for her 1st grade class. I am so proud, as well as excitied about her improvements.
FALL...
October is upon us and with cooler weather and pretty fall colors, I look forward to taking pictures and getting back to keeping this blog updated. Time goes so fast as another birthday came and went for us, we are looking forward to THANKSGIVING and CHRISTMAS. Harley is currently very much in LOVE with 1st grade. She is a great speller, loves writing and drawing pictures. When I try to take her with me for just girl's time she wants Ryder to go to also. Harley had tubes put in last July. She only had 50% hearing at the time. She is responding very well with a 98% hearing now.
